about cinema, comics and video games, I started by making my first self-taught short films before joining the art and media school e|m|a Fructidor in Chalon sur Sa\u00f4ne, from 2014 to 2019. <br \/>My work then developed itself through three mediums : drawing on the one hand, sculpture and video on the other. <br \/>I was looking to create imaginary landscapes to serve as backdrops for my films, and so I started making sculptures, some of which borrowed the codes of the model, the film set, and some of which were inspired by natural processes.<\/p><p>In 2017, I went to the art school in Kassel, Germany, as part of my Master\u2019s degree, where I discovered and experimented with 2D animation and stop motion techniques and made my first animation short film called \u201cCollapse\u201d.<br \/>From 2019 to 2020 , after my Master&rsquo;s degree I&rsquo;m going to Kassel again to make my second animation short film \u00ab\u00a0Expand\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p><p>In 2021 I won the <strong>JUMP<\/strong> scheme, during which I work as a <strong>draughtsman<\/strong> in a multidisciplinary group that brings together music, theatre and the visual arts. <br \/>In the same year, I am doing an online training course with the <strong>STUDI<\/strong> school, entitled \u201c<strong>Digital Marketing Manager<\/strong>\u201d, which allows me to work as a <strong>digital and video communication assistant<\/strong> at the Jazz \u00e0 Tours music school and for which I <strong>create the video content in real shots<\/strong> (interviews, recordings of concerts, musical residencies) for social networks and the web.<\/p><p>From <strong>January to March 2024<\/strong>, I made my <strong>first prototype of a video game<\/strong>, \u201cHostile Ground\u201d, during a <strong>continuous training<\/strong> in the 3D real-time software <strong>Unity<\/strong> at Waide-Somme, the school of 2D-3D animation and video game. <br \/>I was able to discover and work on <strong>every step of the creation of a video game and a film<\/strong>, which allows me to have a <strong>double hat as a graphic designer and director<\/strong> with an <strong>overall vision of the production processes<\/strong> for these two areas and consolidate my desire to <strong>give life and concretize universes.<\/strong><br \/><br \/>As passionate artist, I am working as an <strong>independent director<\/strong> on my third <strong>2D animated short film \u201cInvaded\u201d<\/strong> in parallel with my job search in the field of <strong>Cinema (live action and 3D animation)<\/strong>. To this end, I am starting a <strong>continuous training<\/strong> in <strong>3D animation cinema<\/strong>, lasting 1 year, starting in September 2024 with the same objective of improving skills and <strong>working in the field that I am passionate about.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>about I\u2019m Maxime, visual artist, illustrator and film director.
